Scott Post Homes is a family owned, small local builder in North Texas. Scott Post has been a Texas builder for over 20 years. What’s important to us? We have used the same trusted crews for years. Communication is our strong suit, whether you’re an out of state buyer building your first custom home or a local, the custom home building process doesn’t have to be stressful. At SPH we pride ourselves on strong communication and detailed scheduling. Our average build time is 6-8 months (which sets us apart big from other custom builders!) Our clients are family, we can’t wait to work with you!

Choose your community and select your lot! Our land partner Land & Roots TX Development Group owns 80 lots in North Texas.
Own your own lot? We build on your lot as well.
VISIT OUR MODEL HOME LOCATED IN GUNTER, TX
At this stage, you will view the quality and discuss included standards. Our Model Home is located at 674 Pike Rd Gunter, TX 75058. Call Keith Smith to view at (469) 877-3766.
BUILD MEETING
Build meeting at our model home! At this step we will finalize your lot selection and review our floor plans available. We will discuss your “wish list” and begin your architectural planning! At this early stage, we price out your home.
FINALIZE ARCHITECTURAL PLANS
Our team specializes in functional, timeless home design with open floor plans. We have plans available or you will have the option to work closely with our architect and team to create your plan from scratch!
GO TO CONTRACT AND BEGIN YOUR BUILD
After home design and architectural plans are complete, we will go to contract! Our land developer Keith has been a Realtor-Broker for 40 years and previously owned his own mortgage company. We partner with multiple banks to give our clients the best options for your family!
REVIEWS
We are having a home built in Texas, North of Dallas. We currently reside in WA. Our builder has been amazing and I feel so fortunate… long distance custom builds are not ideal and he’s really made it mostly pain free. Hands down, we won the builder lottery!

4/18 – Closed on construction loan
4/21 – Started prepping for foundation
5/6 – Started putting up foundation forms
5/22 – Started plumbing
5/25 – Poured foundation
5/30 – Started framing
6/11 – Started roofing
6/15 – Started plumbing, electrical and HVAC
6/21 – Virtual walk-thru before sheet rock
6/26 – Finished up plumbing, electric, framing. Started insulation & sheet rock
6/28 – Back patio ceiling and siding began
7/6 – Interior textured
7/10 – Started brick
7/24 – Started interior selections
